Choreographers Group, founded by Perla Joy Furr in 1996, was created to foster a sense of community among artists by establishing a forum for pre-professional and professional dancers to perform together in an atmosphere of mutual sharing of dance knowledge.
Choreographers Group has increased public awareness of the art of choreography by continuously presenting premiere or original works by gifted regional choreographers. Since 1996, Choreographers Group has presented more than 84 world premieres to greater Boston and New York City audiences !
